Description: Eggs of this parasite are ovoid and slightly asymmetrical, measuring 74–99 μm in length, and 38–45 μm in width. Side-walls are dissimilar and one is somewhat flattened. The thick egg shell has a smooth surface and isi nterrupted by a transparent polar plug at one pole (Dufour et al., 2015).
