Description: Ascospores fusiform, inequilaterally one-celled, 68 µm long, 10 µm wide, brown, smooth and thick-walled, extremities needleshaped, 35 µm long; Germ slit centred near the flattened side, 17 µm short. It appears to be affiliated with the family of Xylariace, and perhaps with the genus Rosellinia.
