Description: Fungal spores, ellipsoid, (26.25–) 30–40 x (15–) 17.5–22.5 µm, unequally and asymmetrically 4-celled, brown, thick walled, constricted at the septa, basal cell subhyaline.

Modern occurence: Occur on wood and bark of various deciduous trees.
