Description: Pale brown, three-septate spores, 42–47 x 12–13 µm, with a pore in each septum and at both ends, walls thinning towards the ends and sometimes corroded.

(Sub-) Fossil occurence: This fungal type was found at low frequencies in a few levels of Sphagnum peat of the Beauval core.
