Description: Ellipsoidal spores, 16–18 x 10–11 µm, with an apical pore ca. 1 µm wide and a truncated base ca. 5 µm in diameter; Spores were probably produced by a representative of the Sordariaceae.
(Sub-) Fossil occurence: They are found in the lower half of the Beauval core, corresponding to eutrophic to mesotrophic conditions.
