Description: Plants branching in fascicles. Cortical cells of stem and branches fibrillose. Leaves broadly ovate, deeply concave, hood-shaped, ecostate. Leaves with a regular pattern of alternating green and hyaline cells reinforced with spiral fibres. Green cells completely enclosed on both surfaces of leaf.
