Description: Unknown microfossil, ellipsoid, greenish yellow to light brown, 48.2‒51.9 µm in diameter, with closely covered up to 4.2‒4.6 µm high appendages, surface often folded and/or split. This type is similar to HdV-704B – a cyst of dinoflagellate – , however, it does not have a reticulate surface pattern (Bakker et al. 1982).

Co-occurence: Dinoflagellate cysts and cyanobacteria

Palaeoenvironmental indication: May be associated with soil erosion processes
