Description: Fungal ascospore, one-celled, lemon-shaped, brown to dark brown, with two apical pores, 41.9‒39.5 × 29.6‒29.0 µm. This type is similar to UAB-2 or UAB-4, respectively (Revelles et al. 2016), but KIU-55 is distinctly tapered at both apizes.
