Description: Probably a fungal spore ball, globose to oval, composed of several single, oval to polyhedral greenish yellow to pale brown cells, surrounded by pail white to hyaline, in part, destroyed cells, 36.1‒48.2 µm in diameter.
(Sub-) Fossil occurence: In shallow water deposits from a prehistoric pile-dwelling site
Co-occurence: No information
Modern occurence: During own observations on recent material, a similar type was recorded on oak bark.
Palaeoenvironmental indication: May be related with the presence of wood
