Description: Fruit bodies (55–) 100–250 (–265) µm in diameter; Wall composed of meandering to radially arranged (1–) 2 (–3) µm wide hyphae; Numerous hyphae emerging from the irregular margin; Ostiole (7–) 15 (–25) µm in diameter.

(Sub-) Fossil occurence: On remains of: Erica tetralix, Calluna vulgaris, Oxycoccus palustris and Sphagnum sect. Acutifolia.
