Description: Fruit bodies 40–122 µm in diameter, darkly pigmented; Wall of covering membrane composed of radiating files of subquadratic cells, 4–7 µm wide at the margin, and narrower at the centre, with a prominent ostiole up to 25 µm long and 6–8 µm wide surrounded by 6–8 hyphae about 2 µm wide, basal plate with a radiate structure.
