Description: Ovoid to pyriform microfossils, ca. 18 × 10 µm; Wall 1–2 µm thick; Surface covered by small spines, ca. 0.5 µm broad and high and ca. 2 µm apart; A belt parallel to the equatorial plane with 0–4 pores, with one conspicuous pore in one of the poles; Pores all ca. 1–1.5 µm in diameter.
