Description: Hyaline, isodiametric, 19–34 µm in diameter; Wall undulating to form 2–5 µm high protuberances. The smaller specimens (19–21 µm) have 8 or 12 protuberances, but the bigger ones (30–34 µm) regularly have 8 protuberances.
