Description: Uredospores, teleutospores

Modern occurence: The morphology of the teleutospores points to the species P. magnusiana, which has mainly Phragmites (uredospores, teleutospores) as its host plant. Spermogonia and aecidia occur on Ranunculus flammula, R. bulbosus, R. lingula, and R. repens.
