Description: Bag-shaped cocoons, 90–150 µm in length, with a large opening at one side; Apical appendage; Wall ca. 0.5 µm thick, smooth. Specific identification of these microfossils is highly desirable, because Frey (1964) reports a restricted temperature range of some of the species.
