Description: Hyaline, isodiametric microfossils, total diameter 24–27 µm, walls about 0.3 µm thick, forming ca. 20 spiny, 3–4 µm long protuberances.

(Sub-) Fossil occurence: During the last part of Younger Dryas, the Rammelbeek phase and the beginning of the Sphagnum peat.
