Description: Zygospore square, laterally concave, 34–36 x 32–35 µm; The broad ends of the retuse angles about 5–6 µm in diameter; Depressions in the centre of the angles about 3–4 µm in diameter and 2–2.5 µm deep; The hyaline surface layer smooth.
