Description: Fruit bodies ovoid, 165–190 µm in diameter, connected with septate, about 2 µm wide hyphae; Many thick-walled, dark, septate, 2–5 µm thick setae present near the ostiole; Ascospores fusiform, 23–30 × 5–6 (–7) µm, (2–) 3–4 (–7) septate, end cells lighter and thinner-walled.
