Description: Ascospores cylindrical and rounded at the ends, ca. 28 × 11 μm, with a long, oblique germ split over the whole length of the spore. Barthelmes et al. (2006) reported similar spores as cf. Helicogermslita (of which some species have Rosellinia as a synonym).
