Description: Globose, hyaline with an inner diameter of 30–32 µm and with bent protuberances of 3–4 µm length and <1 µm thickness, arranged 3-4 µm from each other. The protuberances are covered by a hyaline undulated membrane.

(Sub-) Fossil occurence: BM-1 occurs mostly during the mesotrophic and rarely under dry oligotrophic conditions in Borsteler Moor.
